To become a certified applicator or registered technician for the first time, you must take the appropriate MDA exam(s). After passing the exam(s), your certification/registration is good for 3 years. The following information will assist you in obtaining your credential:

Note: After passing the exam, certified applicators are are now eligible to renew their 3-year credential by attending seminars. However, you may wish to attend a seminar before taking the exam if it is designed to help you prepare for the certification exam. To see the list of MDA-approved seminars click on the following:
